Y’all my week has been insanely busy. We are talking seriously hectic and long work days. It has all been really positive, fulfilling, and rewarding, but I am so ready for a break this long weekend. So sorry to all my fellow bloggers for the lack of participation in linkups and visiting your blogs this week! Fingers crossed things will slow down next week.
Today I am sharing the final installment of my latest collaboration with Eva Trends. In case you missed the first two you can see them here and here. This time around I am showcasing a beautiful silk maxi dress with a lovely rose print along the borders. The gorgeous colors are so rich and warm lending this maxi to an easy fall transition piece. This silk dress feels light as air and comes with a loose black knit spaghetti strap dress to wear underneath. The knit dress is super soft, is quite comfortable, as well as versatile. I have actually worn it a couple of times already – once underneath a kimono and once underneath a leopard cardigan. You can see a closer look of the dress in my What I Wore post here.
This lovely silk maxi dress is a loose style, almost caftan in appearance. While I do appreciate the style and think it works well for a tropical vacation or an elegant evening out, for my everyday style I typically want to show off my curves a little more. Therefore, I thought I would share three different ways to style a loose maxi dress. First up we have the chic and comfortable caftan style. Easy, breezy, effortless.

Next I cinched in my waistline with a black obi belt. I like the dramatic statement and how the wider belt works to contain the silk in a way a thinner belt would not.

Finally, I pulled the extra fabric of the dress to one side and tied it into a simple knot. I love the draped effect and how it changes the shape and length entirely.
